Orange Flower Earrings from Paris

These earrings are inspired by a French artist called Franciose Montague who once recalled that she discovered costume jewelry when she was spending her life embellishing her sisters at little cost. After a year studying hate making, she took over the jewelry workshops that her mother had begun in the 1940s. Francoise style is recognizable in the abundant use of enamel and iridescent glass beads that she often uses for her jewelry. Today, Marion who keeps Francoise jewelry alive, employs the techniques of enamling, stringing on thread, brass wire and couture.
