Handmade Wooden and Leather Scottish Evening Bag

This beautiful evening bag was made in Scotland and is made of wood and leather. Wood can often seem heavy and often bulky so in order to soften up the bag, the artist first lacquered the wood to give it a spectacular shine. Then, she made the handle of the bag leather, in order to give the bag an added element of smoothness. We love how the wood and the leather balance themselves out. Underneath the bag, one can see the hinges of how it opens and clothes showing that this evening bag is a true piece of art.
