French Longwy Ceramics Tulips A Causans

This limtied edition French Longwy ceramic bowl was designed by the famous painter L. Zanella. Longwy pieces are made in France with origins as early as 1798. Its reputation grew under Napoleon where they had pieces commissioned and continued to grow throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. Today they are well known for the glaze on their pieces, their spectacular color and the use of very fine crackles.
